Following the completion of works on the Baroque entry door of Negri Palace on Vodnjan’s square Trg Statuta, the Ars et Labor Foundation is currently looking for a historical entry door for its next conservation-restoration intervention.

The Foundation opens the doors of its Vodnjan’s restoration workshop in Ulica Pian 13 each Friday at 11 a.m., for an hour, to everyone interested in making a suggestion or collaborating. It is a unique opportunity to visit and gain an insight into restoration activities, discovering techniques and materials used in conservation and restoration. With prior announcement.
The Ars et Labor Foundation will finance the conservation-restoration work on the most important wood entry doors in Istria and undertake their historical and artistic valorisation thanks to private funding and the enthusiasm of donors and conservators.
The Ars et Labor Foundation will also open its own restoration workshop where the above work will take place, with a possibility of getting to know how the works are proceeding, talking to restorers and discovering this often insufficiently known field.
