This is the official calendar of cultural events some of which are already in the realisation phase within the project of the revitalisation of the historic centre, while other events are in the performance planning phase.

The dates are subject to minor changes to prevent overlapping schedules with traditional local events whose dates are yet to be announced.

Itineraries of Silence

3D DDD- Three Digital Detox Days

Religious itineraries and itineraries of silence in Istria and territories of the former   Yugoslavia

The Ars et Labor Foundation will organise group and individual trips designed to present and forge an emotional connection with this specific slice of Istrian territory that is not washed by the sea, especially during the spring and autumn period and during the holidays. Culture, history, towns, food, spiritual places and sacred sites in the territories of the former Yugoslavia, discovering biodiversity and successful networking of everything that has not yet been integrated.

Vodnjan will be the starting point of all activities, a place of new opportunities of sustainable accommodation establishments, cultural and health tourism, and opportunities of increasing modest accommodation capacities of the Foundation using local resources provided that they comply with minimal standards of elegant simplicity, in collaboration with private-sector entities interested in working in this market segment – adaptive reuse of heritage buildings aimed at increasing business opportunities and well-being of the local community, sensitive to environmental issues and using the existing resources only.

Trips and courses lasting up to several days to relax the soul. Cooking classes at San Martin Inn, puppet restoration classes, introduction to the Feldenkrais Method, olive oil classes and participating in the olive harvest and olive oil production, taking part in the grape harvest and bicycling trips designed to incent and motivate our visitors.

Planned activities will be organised only with the support of immediate and assigned funds.

Culture is the way of doing things.
