On December 8, 2021, we officially presented the conservation-maintenance work carried out on the historic door of Via Porta No 15 in Bale, as a gift from the Ars et Labor Foundation to the city of Bale and its inhabitants.
Present at the ceremony were the mayor of Bale, Edi Pastrovicchio, the director of the Valais Proloco, Sandi Drandić, the councilor for social activities of Albona, Borjan Bagatelj, numerous journalists and friends of the Foundation.
This is the second historical door, after that of Vodnjan, that the Foundation has donated to an Istrian locality as part of its PULSATE ET APERIETUR – KNOCK AND IT WILL OPEN project – a practical example of our enthusiasm for the preservation of local historical heritage.
